Fund for Local Cooperation  (FLC) in Belarus 2015

 Call for proposals

We are announcing a call for project proposals in the Republic of Belarus under the Fund for Local Cooperation (FLC) of the Embassy of Finland in Vilnius.

The Finnish Fund for Local Cooperation is a fund managed by the Embassy of Finland in Lithuania. The fund supports initiatives of local Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), Community-based Organisations (CBOs), and other institutions in Belarus.

Objectives of the Fund

The objective of the fund is to complement other Finnish development efforts in the field of human rights, democracy and good governance, and strengthen the civil society in particular. The approach is to establish long-term partnerships with a limited number of organisations instead of supporting one-time activities, workshops, seminars, etc. Once the Embassy has gained experience on the capabilities of the organization, the Embassy may consider building a more close and long-term partnership with the organization.
